Background
The Lake Garda Meeting was between officials of the Catholic Church and officials of the Third Reich.
Reference
The Convent of the Sacred Heart near Brenzone hosted the meeting. Its goal was keeping the Vatican out of the controversy about the Holocaust. The meeting was a success and resulted in an agreement between the two parties.
