Yasir Arafat visited New York in connection with the peace process. Tariq al-Hourani entered the country illegally from Canada, bringing Jacqueline Delacroix with him against her will. Al-Hourani attempted to kill Arafat, but Arafat talked him out of the act. Al-Hourani later shot Gabriel Allon and was killed by Jacqueline.
